Loved Me Back to Life is the twenty-fifth studio album and eleventh English-language album by Canadian singer Celine Dion, released by Columbia Records on 1 November 2013. Dion's first English-language studio album since Taking Chances, it was produced by Babyface, Tricky Stewart, Eg White, Walter Afanasieff, and others, and initially developed in 2012 under the title Water and a Flame. Blending contemporary pop and R&B with selected Las Vegas covers, its release was delayed as Dion and her team shifted the album toward original material, and it was renamed Loved Me Back to Life in 2013. The album received generally positive reviews from critics, with praise for Dion's willingness to explore contemporary pop, R&B, and dance influences while adopting a softer, more nuanced vocal styl, though some critics felt that her attempts to sound more contemporary were occasionally unconvincing and criticized the album's formulaic ballads.
